The training workshop will explore the concept of antigypsyism, its manifestations and possible educational responses, while developing the competences of participants to run initiatives and activities and supporting networking and good practice sharing. A complex toolkit on combating antigypsyism, prepared within the Roma Youth Action Plan of the Council of Europe, will be launched and used during the workshop.
Date and place: 20–24 April, Strasbourg, France
Eligibility: 20 educators and practitioners aged 18–30 (exceptions possible) from a European Cultural Convention member state, with some experience of running educational activities, particularly for Roma communities/youth, supported by an organisation or an informal group, and able to work in English
Costs: no fees; accommodation and food provided and travel costs reimbursed according to the Council of Europe rules
